Originally, the Granite State Sharp Shooters was established in 2010 as a three-position rifle team that focused on the prone, off hand, and kneeling disciplines. Consisting of boys and girls ranging in age from 12 – 18 years
of age, the team shot .22 caliber rifles with Olympic style sites. Training utilized the Winchester program, focusing on marksmanship skills and advancements.

However, it was recently decided that the program would be revised to encompass many different shooting styles instead of concentrating on just one. Stay tuned as we revise the program to bring a wider range of opportunity to our young shooters!
