This class focuses on metallic cartridge reloading, including pistol and rifle calibers. It is taught by both experienced reloaders as well as NRA Reloading instructors. It does not cover shotshell reloading. In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of how cartridges are built and behave, safety rules and precautions to be taken, equipment used, and the process and consumables employed to reload your own ammunition. The class includes projectile (bullet) and powder selection, and how to tailor a load to your specific firearm to maximize performance. The class is both instructional and hands on. Equipment will be provided and you will get to reload your own ammunition right in class. After class, if desired, we go out and shoot those rounds and measure their performance.
